Leafy Couture - Florist

I met Sarah who owns Leafy Couture Floristry several years ago. What a creative, enterprising and truly colourful woman.  Sarah has created floral installations for us for at our Harrogate shop, has provided us with beautiful flowers to gift friends and family, adorned our doors with Christmas wreaths across the years.

I've also been lucky enough to attend a number of her workshops... creating wreaths, bouquets, tablespaces and memories. Having those three or four hours away from the hustle and bustle to channel a bit of creativity and step away - that's invaluable.

Sarah must be one of the busiest people in Otley, sharing her creativity far beyond floristry (and county). She runs networking events for like-minded business owners, creates installations for exhibitions, high profile weddings and Flower Shows, runs courses and 'grows talented florists' via her franchise scheme.

You never knew you wanted a floristry franchise until you looked at her website and met her...

She is always on the go, always On Her Feet - and that's just work We've not mentioned the dog, the children, the house, the travel, the groceries...

Sarah surrounds herself with capable, bright and sunny women at work and we went to spend time with Brooke, Holly and Gemma in August at the Leafy Workshop.  Nestled into the surroundings of a beautiful estate in Arthington, they are no more than a five minute drive from us in Pool-In-Wharfedale.

Sarah wears our Cadi Slipper at home and we felt that they aren't dissimilar to her ethos - She works with natural products, adds colour and creativity and brings comfort to others tailoring the look and feel to each customer. And so you can see Holly sporting Cadi in an ever classic Vanilla, Brooke in Tan with a cheeky pop of tangy orange and Gem wearing full on sparkle with the Titanium Cadi.

It turns out that our fingerless mittens are just the ticket for cutting stems from the garden too.
