Multi-Layer Melange Rug
One of our most popular rugs and it's easy to see why. These beautiful natural Icelandic Melange rugs are pieced from mixed melange skins to give it this beautiful and unique style. The layers are formed from the different length hair and tones of each individual rug.
These rugs form part of our Made to Order range and there will be a lead time of 6-8 weeks.
A natural shape and approximate dimensions are 180cm by 120cm (6ft by 4ft).

Our rugs are tanned with the environment in mind, meaning no chrome is used, so they’re not machine washable. Naturally dirt and bacteria resistant thanks to the lanolin in the wool, most just need a brush with a slicker dog brush and an air on the line. To freshen them up further, a little dry shampoo works wonders, spray, let it dry, then brush out. It’s easier to keep on top of them than to catch up later, so try not to let them go too far with out giving them a brush. For dyed rugs, avoid strong, direct sunlight to reduce fading—UV fabric spray won’t stop colour change but can help slow it down.
