KNOT GARDEN Melin Tregwynt Wool Throw (Cwrel)
This intricate double cloth tapestry weave was created in the 1950's with help from the rural industries board. It forms part of our archive of classic designs and because of its timeless appeal has been in continuous production here at the mill since the 1960's.
All MT throws and blankets are finished with a simple hem so you can choose to display either side. Woven from 100% pure new Wool it feels very much like vintage Welsh fabrics, wool has warmth weight and breathability but is still practical and easy to care for.

For occasional cleaning of wool, it is best to do this by hand using cold or warm (not hot) water. Use a damp cloth or sponge with a very mild hand washing detergent (non-bio) that is suitable for washing wool (like little beau sheep wool wash). Try to avoid wool getting wet and dry slowly and naturally, away from direct heat, if it does.
