The natural characteristics of the Icelandic wool is silky and soft making these rugs perfect for any room in the houses. On the floor by the bed to curly your toes into first thing in the morning. In front of the fire, curled up reading your book or watching a film or draped over the back of a chair or sofa for added comfort and warmth.

Our rugs are tanned with the environment in mind, meaning no chrome is used, so they’re not machine washable. Naturally dirt and bacteria resistant thanks to the lanolin in the wool, most just need a brush with a slicker dog brush and an air on the line. To freshen them up further, a little dry shampoo works wonders, spray, let it dry, then brush out. It’s easier to keep on top of them than to catch up later, so try not to let them go too far with out giving them a brush. For dyed rugs, avoid strong, direct sunlight to reduce fading—UV fabric spray won’t stop colour change but can help slow it down.
